What’s short, black and white and drives a Corvette?  It’s the Chicago Corvette Club’s mascot, Darby.  Darby is a rat terrier belonging to Rich Manderino, the club’s web designer, and the son of Chicago Corvette Club President, Michael Manderino.  Darby claims a home that has three corvettes, a plethora of corvette memorabilia and a couple of cars her own size.  Darby is an Honorary member of the Chicago Corvette Club because she doesn’t own a real corvette, but rather several running Corvette power wheels as seen above. Look for Darby at upcoming events either begging for food or passing out Club information.  Either way, Darby brings a fun, free spirit and a smile to the Chicago Corvette Club and its attendees, young and old alike.  Look for more photos of Darby coming soon.
