CCC Events |

Spring is here... so it's time to get out the lawn
mower, plant those flowers, put down fresh mulch and of course,
wash the Corvette so it's ready to drive. As the weather
heats up so does the Chicago Corvette Club event calendar.
May is a very busy month for the CCC, so make sure to mark your
calendar to ensure you don't miss out on the 6 events
planned.
May 3rd, Sunday - Picture Day on Route 66 in Wilmington, IL
May 16th, Saturday - Blooming Fest in West Chicago, IL
- May 16th the CCC will be hosting a Wheels
exhibit at the West Chicago Blooming Fest. The event
is a car display open to all make and model cars. The
event will be held in the City Hall Parking lot with 'goodie
bags' for the first 50 cars and prizes in several
categories.
May 20th, Wednesday - Indy 500 Track Day in Indianapolis, IN
- Ever wonder how cool it would be to take a lap around
the legendary Indianapolis Motor Speedway? Then rev up your
engines for the
American Family Insurance 500 Festival Community Day and
you can do just that! Experience this unique opportunity of
taking a lap around the track in your own car.
May 20th, Wednesday - CCC Meeting in Naperville/Warrenville,
IL
- The May meeting will be packed with updated information
about upcoming June events, including Bloomington Gold
plans, items for auction and the new trivia contest.
May 23rd, Saturday - Drive 'n Dine in Matoon, IL
- May 23rd we'll bump our monthly Drive 'n Dine event up
to a lunch event, in Matoon, at the Race Track! If you have
always wanted to see what all the racing excitement is
about, this is your chance. Join the caravan on a ride down
I-57 to check out the racing event and enjoy a meal at
Cody's Western Steakhouse.
May 24th, Sunday - Racing in Matoon, IL
- May 24th the CCC will host a NCCC sanctioned race at the
track in Matoon. This is the first of the two racing events
we'll be hosting this year.

Passes

The club again has the opportunity to pre-purchase Bloomington
Gold passes. Payment must be received by Dennis no
later than the May club meeting.
Checks should be made out to "Chicago Corvette Club".
2-day passes - $60.00 includes 4 1-day passes
4-day passes - $80.00 includes 2 4-day passes
All pass packages include club parking. |

The online member directory is now available on the club website. Please login and check your information. Changes can be sent to Bill Sullivan.
To Login:
- Type the last 3 numbers of your NCCC#, and for ladies the L following those numbers in the NCCC# box
- Enter your last name in the last name box and press the enter key
- Press the Login button
Once logged in you should see Member Directory as a link in the left hand margin. |
